- The Library is moving out of the container and into the various teaching studios. There is a general bookcase at 45 Mann holding reference books, Australian music books, musicianship, orchestration and arranging texts.
- As of early 2023 the Library has separated into different instrumental departments and is no longer a single entity. The catalogue system is still in place and materials can be accessed via teaching studios. Tutors and students can still request for items to be located, borrowed and delivered. - As of late 2022, the Library was put into storage in the shipping container. Due to space constraints, the Library had to downsize. It vinyl, CD collection went to various outlets such as Da Capo in Glebe and FineMusicFM.
- Recently the Library was donated a significant collection of guitar music by local guitarist Paul McCabe. It has been catalogued and ready for borrowing. Paul's donation also included some jazz improvisation books.
- In early 2022 the Library demountable got lifted by crane and moved into the Cottage carpark. Currently the Library is getting sorted back into cabinet order.
- During the lockdown period I have been sorting and weeding the vocal cabinets. As a result there is a large pile of vocal sheet music to give away. Come and drop by the Library and take a bit of history home.
- During the 2021 COVID-19 lockdown the Library has been developing the Don Andrews archive. For more information go to the drop down menu above.
- The CCCMusic Library's dedicated volunteer, Steve Essery, is soon to return to the Library after the COVID-19 lockdown.
The following material can be borrowed for up to six months.
- Sheet music for Vocal, SATB choral, Strings, Guitar, Woodwind, Brass, Piano and Organ. The collection is organised by instrument in filing cabinets inside the Library.
- CDs and DVDs are available for borrowing. The Library has classical, jazz, world, folk, pop, and film music CDs.
Vinyl is available for listening on site at the Library's turntable.
Musicianship materials - some are available but limited due to majority being boxed in storage
Biographies of composers, conductors, opera singers, and rock and roll are currently boxed in storage
Due to space and weight constraints and the main campus renovation, the Library has suspended donations as of early 2020 to focus on consolidating and fitting its collection into the demountable building. Culling of duplicate sheet music is ongoing. Keep an eye out for give away pieces near the FREE SHEET MUSIC signs located around the common waiting areas.
